Be Joyful in All Things

Updated: Nov 17, 2021

From February 16, 2021.

Hello, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jeanette Stark. I was in radio for close to 28 years and now find myself in television. It was never my plan. It just happened.

My hope, wish and prayer is that I can be a blessing to you.

In my personal morning worship and prayer time this morning I was reflecting on the hardships in my life. Something you perhaps are all too familiar with as well. Did you know we are required to be joyful while going through tough times? Sounds silly to some, but it's true.

From 'The Clear Word' Romans 5:3-5 "We can even be joyful when we go through hardships, because we know that suffering produces patient endurance, and patient endurance produces strength of character, and character gives us unshakable hope. Such hope will not disappoint us, because God has also poured out His love on us by giving us the Holy Spirit as a down-payment for an endless future."

I cannot think of anything more important than an 'endless future'. A future with Christ that never ends. Let that resonate with you today.

The King James version puts it this way "And not only so, but we glory in tribulation also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh us not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." AMEN!

I recently injured my shoulder. Either too much firewood stacking or going through multiple boxes of things I don't need or perhaps a combination of both, but I can hardly use my right shoulder. For the past three days during my morning prayer time with God I have thanked him for my injury.

It might feel a bit foreign to thank God for pain and injury but may I remind you that we are to thank Him for all things (Ephesians 5:20) and through all hardships and tribulations (Romans 5:3).

What do you have to be thankful for today? I would love to hear from you.

Remember to keep Looking up! Jesus is coming soon!
